Virginia’s VINCI School interiors STEM from Ottawa

Gifted mathematicians and scientists aren’t just born with innate knowledge of calculus and chemistry – our society’s future Elon Musks and Stephen Hawkings won’t be coming about without early, consistent (and fun) activities presented by passionate instructors.

With locations in Ottawa, California, Virginia and even Beijing-Shanghai, the VINCI School family vows to maximize each child’s potential with individualized, hands-on learning through Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).

Altro representative Wayne McCue was introduced to Dan Yang, the future owner of both Ottawa and Virginia schools, at the Construct Canada tradeshow. She’d purchased an older school in Ottawa and planned to renovate it into her first VINCI School. The two planned a meeting to discuss.

Yang then chose Altro Reliance 25 sheet vinyl flooring for the school’s corridors and Altro Lavencia LVT for all classrooms, making the decision without an architect or interior designer.

After purchasing another future VINCI School in Alexandria, Virginia, Yang knew exactly what she wanted – more Altro!

Altro Walkway 20 sheet vinyl flooring in colors Pavement and Roof Garden was installed in corridors, with Altro Lavencia LVT in color Italian Olivewood for the classrooms.

This time, she didn’t just stick to flooring. For this VINCI School’s bathrooms, Yang selected Altro Whiterock Chameleon wall cladding in the vibrant orange Juicy Lucy color for a durable and hygienic, and attractive and fun, solution.
