Altro chosen as focus brand in new publication

Altro have been chosen as one of the focus brands in On Purpose: Delivering a Branded Customer Experience People Love, a new book by established business authors Shaun Smith and Andy Milligan.

Calling Altro ‘one of the most successful specialist manufacturing brands in the world’, the book is a practical guide to executing business purpose successfully. With more than ten pages on Altro, the book includes an interview with Richard Kahn, CEO Floors and Walls Division, about the company’s ethos, its long-term future and how it will get there.

150 days a year are spent by Altro customers visiting the company’s Letchworth site as part of voice of the customer: all Altro employees take part in the programme to meet customers and hear what they think face-to-face. On Purpose features insight from Terry Oakley, Customer Engagement Specialist, on the programme and how and why it works.

There is a section featuring Technical Director John Patsavellas on why products such as Altro Aquarius are a success and the work Altro are doing to develop the products of the future. The book also includes an interview with HR Director Tonia Millson on how customers are brought into every aspect of the business and how Altro employees are selected and trained to support that culture.
