Altro launches new ranges for more design possibilities

One product doesn’t fit all. Each room in a building has different needs and challenges. Altro has introduced three complementary products that work with our enhanced Altro Wood collection to meet the needs of different areas. Colorful, easy to clean and compatible with each other, they provide the harmonious look you want while giving the performance you need – the perfect solution for your public spaces.

For environments that need to promote well-being, Altro floors and walls can be used to create a biophilic design – using shades and images found in nature. This helps create a sense of calm and it can speed up the recovery process.

NEW! Altro Orchestra™ is for areas where comfort and sound reduction are important. It is a 2.85mm floor engineered to create the ideal environment to heal, live and learn. Low residual indentation facilitates the flexible use of equipment and furniture, including hospital beds. At the same time, the integrated impact sound insulation system cuts impact sound by up to 15dB. With 40 color options you can go as bold as you dare.

NEW! Altro Operetta™ is a 2mm, 4dB robust floor for medium to high traffic areas. It is easy to clean and maintain, with 25 attractive natural and contemporary colors and finishes to fit in your interior design scheme. It matches and coordinates with Altro Orchestra and Altro Serenade to create a complete look throughout.

NEW! Altro Serenade™ Silence is golden. Whether softening the sounds of little feet or maximizing privacy at work or leisure, acoustic Altro Serenade is more that up to the task. With 15 color options, it is 3.9mm thick with 19dB impact sound insulation. Not only does it reduce noise, it provides a high level of comfort underfoot. A great solution for areas that require underfoot comfort and sound reduction, it creates a calming atmosphere.

Colorful, easy to clean and with a varied design choice, these products are perfect for rooms with a low potential for spills from water and other contaminants.

For areas where more safety is required, we are introducing our new wood-look floors to create spaces that look good without compromising on performance.

REDESIGNED! Altro Wood™
This attractive, general purpose wood-look floor is available in a range of designs with different plank sizes and shades. Altro Wood has 20 contemporary and traditional options including a bamboo-look fine-line design and wide plank designs. Replacing our Altro Wood Safety and Altro Wood Smooth lines, Altro Wood achieves the safety values and design options you know from our old ranges.

NEW! Altro Wood™ Comfort
Offering aesthetics combined with comfort, it is an ideal choice for areas that need to look good while helping to give comfort underfoot and sound reduction. Altro Wood Safety Comfort is available in 12 colors and its 14dB of sound reduction is great for noisy environments such as hospitals and kindergartens.

NEW! Altro Wood Acoustic
This 3.9mm floor achieves an IIC rating of 15 (19dB), and is an ideal wood-look choice for areas that require high levels of noise reduction or where sound transmission between floors is a concern.

While some rooms may have this need for sound resistance, other spaces adjacent may not. We’ve matched color options across Altro Wood, Altro Wood Comfort and Altro Wood Acoustic to allow for a consistent look throughout – no matter the performance required.

As a responsible designer and manufacturer we take sustainability seriously. Our new ranges are made in Europe, contain bioplasticizers and are phthalate-free.
